Abstract

The paper introduces a suggested streamlined method that focuses on two main areas: first, providing a clear systematic approach for assigning treatment signs (coefficients) when drafting the formulas for various effects; and second, establishing a simplified mechanism for calculating the sum of squares for each partitioned part of the SSE within the 2^n framework.Traditional matrix-based methods and common statistical formulas often require extensive time, effort, and the organization of numerous complex tables. The authors propose this alternative method as a more efficient and user-friendly tool for researchers. By reducing the mathematical burden of manual calculations in high-factor experiments, the study contributes a practical advancement to the field of experimental design, demonstrating through application that the suggested method maintains accuracy while significantly enhancing computational ease compared to standard procedures.
