Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of university ethical practices—both negative and positive—on determining the quality of academic performance. The researchers selected a sample of Colleges of Administration and Economics in universities across the southern region as the field of study, adopting the hypothesis that the level of university performance depends on the avoidance of negative ethical behaviors and a steadfast commitment to positive practices. The study reached several key conclusions, most notably the urgent need for the investigated colleges to establish a formal code of ethics that defines professional academic conduct and regulates the ethical practices within the university community.
