إن للحامض النووي DNA أهمية بالغة لكونه حاملاً للمعلومات الوراثية. وبالتالي فإن دراسة تعاقبات الحامض النووي DNA سوف يعطي انطباعاً عن الصفات الوراثية للكائن الحي. ولأهمية الموضوع ارتأينا تقديم بحث يتضمن التعرف على سلاسل الحامض النووي DNA وحساب الاحتمالات الانتقالية الشرطية لعناصر هذه السلاسل، وبناء مصفوفات احتمالية انتقالية من الرتبة الأولى والثانية والثالثة والرابعة والخامسة.
وتم التجريب على أربعة تعاقبات لسلسلة الدنا لهرمون النمو البشري. وتم الاعتماد على نتائج الطرق البيولوجية ومميزات الجين في تعاقبات DNA للمفاضلة بين نتائج الطرق الثلاث التي ترشح السلسلة ذات الاحتمالية الأكبر لكي تمثل الجين. وتم عمل برنامج تشفير وترجمة للنسق لثلاث نظم قراءة، بهدف المقارنة بين تعاقبات هرمون النمو البشري وسلاسل أخرى.
