نماذج الخزين الاحتمالية تبعاالملخص
الخزين عبارة عن تجهيز البضائع للبيع أو الاستخدام المستقبلي . الطلب على المنتج في الخزين هو عدد الوحدات التي سوف نحتاج إلى تحريكها من المخزن للبيع أو الاستخدام خلال فترة معينة. اذا كان الطلب للفترات المستقبلية ممكن توقعه بدقة كبيرة سيتم استخدام قاعدة الخزين التي تفترض بان كل التنبؤات تكون دقيقة جدا" في هذه الحالة يكون الطلب محدد.
توقيت الطلب ممكن إن يكون دوري (يقدم الطلب كل عدة أيام) أو دائم (يقدم الطلب عندما تقل الكمية المخزونة).
