المستخلص
يهدف البحث إلى تحديد العلاقة بين الانفاق الاستهلاكي الحكومي والناتج المحلي الاجمالي في العراق للمدة 1981-2006، وتحديد الحجم الأمثل للإنفاق الاستهلاكي الحكومي ومحاولة معرفة مدى انتاجية هذا الانفاق. واستخدم أنموذج للأجل القصير واخرللاجل الطويل لاختبار ذلك وقد أوضحت النتائج التي تم التوصل إليها أن:-
- الانفاق الاستهلاكي الحكومي في العراق منتج حيث ان قيمة الانتاجية الحدية لهذا الانفاق موجبة.
- الانفاق الاستهلاكي الحكومي اكبر مما ينبغي لان قيمة الانتاجية الحدية لهذا الانفاق اقل من الواحد صحيح.
- ان نسبة الانفاق الاستهلاكي الحكومي الى GDP بلغت 33.5% وهي أعلى من الحجم الأمثل العالمي الذي يبلغ 23%.
