في هذا البحث , استعملنا طريقة بيز لتقدير معلمة القياس للتوزيع الطبيعي.بافتراض ثلاثة أنواع مختلفة من التوزيعات عندما يكون التوزيع الأولي لمعلمة القياس توزيع جذر مربع معكوس كاما وعندما يكون التوزيع الأولي توزيع non-informative والتوزيع الأولي لعائلة الدالة المرافقة الطبيعية the natural conjugate family of priors) ) , حيث اعتمد تقدير بيز على مربع دالة الخسارة,ومقارنته مع طرائق التقدير الكلاسيكية لتقدير معلمة القياس للتوزيع الطبيعي مثل طريقة الإمكان الأعظم وطريقة العزوم .عدة حالات لمعلمة القياس للتوزيع الطبيعي استخدمت لتوليد البيانات ولإحجام مختلفة من العينات ( صغيرة , متوسطة , كبيرة).استحصلت النتائج باستخدام أسلوب المحاكاة,بكتابة برامج باستخدام MATLAB-R2008a.تبين نتائج المحاكاة بان مقدر بيز عندما يكون التوزيع الأولي لمعلمة القياس توزيع مربع جذر توزيع كاما (SRIG) بالمعلمتين (a=3,b=1) عندما تكون , وبالمعلمتين(a=b=3) عندما تكون ,وبالمعلمتين (a=2,b=3) عندما تكون , وبالمعلمتين (a=1,b=3) عندما تكون يعطي اصغر قيمة لمتوسط مربع الأخطاء ( (MSE و متوسط الخطأ النسبي المطلق (MAPE) ولكل إحجام العينات.
